Medica Travel - an alternative to British health care?
We don't want to compete with British health care (NHS). British health care is good. But it has it's drawbacks. Higher costs of dental care, lack of doctors, insufficient resources and budget cuts result in long waiting lists for patients. Where the British health care is failing, we offer an alternative.

Is it safe to use Polish health care?
Foreign people still hesitate to accept Polish health care and there are many myths about the health care in former East-European countries. They use obsolete equipment donated by foreign hospitals and medicines with early expiry dates. Outdated equipment, crowded and run-down hospitals. This was true, the hospitals in former East-European countries needed to be improved. But the medical knowledge has always been on top compared with the rest of Europe. British health care has for a longer period been recruiting Polish doctors and dentists. The public health care has improved in Poland, but there is a big difference between private- and public health care. Private health care has always used the latest techniques and participated in foreign medical conferences, etc. The Polish people have for many years access to exclusive and immediate health care, as long as they are able to pay for it.

Who we are?
Medica Travel is a Polish mediating company specialized in arranging Polish health care for foreigners. Before we send any patients we conduct a thorough evaluation of every care institution. We look at the following: The competence should be at least as good as in Great Britain. The clinics should use well-known methods an materials. The Doctors should speak English fluently. The doctors should be recommended locally. Good warranties on work and materials concerning dental care. The doctor should be fully insured. The doctors should have experience in treating foreign patients.

Can I use my English?
Yes, to be understood, you do not have to know Polish. It's enough if you speak English.

Only health care?
