Prepare
yourself for a face-lift surgery
Little more planning
is required when you do your surgery abroad. Planning and booking your
face lift procedure is performed in five simple steps.
Step 1: Preliminary
opinion and price
The purpose of this step is to get a preliminary opinion and a exact price
quotation from our plastic surgeon before you go to Poland.

that shows your face straight from the front and your face in profile
to e-mail address info@medicatravel.com.
Please add questions in your e-mail if you have any. We will forward
your pictures and questions to the right plastic surgeon. Your photos
are treated completely confidentially).

We will answer your inquiry as soon as we have received comment from
our plastic surgeon. This takes normally two working days.

Step 2: Planning
the Day of Surgery and Medical Assessment
When you have decided to have a surgery - It is time for more detailed
planning

1. You should
not have any kind of infection, cold, fever, etc. Ask us if you
are not sure. If you are a woman, you should not have your menstruation
the day of planned surgery (first two days of your menstruation).
Fill in our
form "Medical Assessment. This assessment gives us information
if you are completely healthy or you need additional medical tests
before surgery.

one day before surgery.

We help you of course to book your hotel.
We can recommend
willa Albatros in Gdansk. The hotel offer lower prices than normal
to our clients. 160 PLN / night including breakfast and dinner (approx.
£35/night). 220 PLN / night for two people in double room
incl. breakfast and dinner (approx. £48). Cable TV, DVD and
internet connection in the room. The food is served in your room
after surgery. The staff speaks good English. Your will find more

Step 3: Plan
your medical trip
| 1. |
You should have
your "European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)" with you.
If you don't have one you can apply one for free at following address:

Remember not
to take aspirin or E-vitamins two weeks before surgery. If you are
a smoker, it is good if you completely stop smoking or at least
cut down the quantity of cigarettes two weeks before and two weeks
after your surgery, because smoking affects the healing process.

You can bring
someone with you on your trip. You have free medical assistance
during your stay in Gdansk and you will also have free transfers
from airport - hotel and clinic.

| 4. |
Remember to
pack light. Take soap, shampoo, toothbrush, bathrobe and / or pyjamas
etc. with you and something to read.

Step 4: Arrival
The day of arrival
you will meet your plastic surgeon. During the consultation the plastic
surgeon will answer all your questions about your surgery. The plastic
surgeon will also inform you what result you can expect after surgery
and what kind of risk involved. You are able to resign at any point before
surgery without extra cost. We have English speaking staff that will help
with translation if necessary.
Step 5: Day of Surgery
You are not allowed to eat or drink six hours before surgery. You should
take shower and rest up before the operation. Jewellery and other valuables
should be left in your hotel. Remove all cosmetics. Do not use perfume.
We pick you up from the hotel and take you to the clinic.
