Booking
and preparation for a breast lift
More planning is required
when you do your surgery abroad. Planning and booking a surgery is performed
in five simple steps.
Step 1: Preliminary
opinion, prequalification and price
The purpose of this step is to get a preliminary opinion from the plastic
surgeon, if you are prequalified for an operation and to get an estimation
how much your surgery will costs before flying to Poland.

Send your photos
that show your breasts from the front and your breast in profile
to e-mail address pictures@medicatravel.com.
Please add a short description what you want to change and questions
if any in your e-mail.
We forward your pictures, description and questions to right plastic
surgeon and clinic. Your photos are treated completely confidentially,

We
will answer your inquiry as soon as we have received comment from
the plastic surgeon. This takes normally 2-3 working days.

Fill in our
form "Medical Assessment". This assessment gives us information
if you are completely healthy and are qualified for surgery or you
need additional medical tests.

Step 2: Planning
the Day of Surgery
If you have decided to have a surgery - It is time for more detailed planning.

You should not
have any kind of infection, cold, fever, etc. Ask us if you are
not sure. If you are a woman, you should not have your menstruation
the day of planned surgery (first two days of your menstruation).

Plan your trip
and hotels: You should arrive one day prior to surgery.

Step 3: Plan
your journey
| 1. |
You should have
your "European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)" with you.
If you don't have one, you can apply one for free at following address:
https://www.ehic.org.uk/Internet/home.do

Remember not
to take aspirin or E-vitamins two weeks prior to your surgery. If
you are a smoker, it is good if you stop smoking or at least cut
down the quantity of cigarettes two weeks before and two weeks after
your surgery. Smoking affects the healing process.

You can bring
someone with you on your journey. You have free medical assistance
during your stay in Gdansk and you will also have free transfers
from the airport - hotel and clinic. For surgeries in Warszaw, we
can a arrange transfer between airport, hotel and clinic.

Remember to
pack light. Take soap, shampoo, toothbrush, bathrobe and / or pyjamas
etc. with you and something to read.

Step 4: Arrival
The day of arrival
you will meet your plastic surgeon. During the consultation, the plastic
surgeon will answer all your questions about your surgery. Your plastic
surgeon will also inform you what kind of result you can expect after
surgery, and what kind of risks are involved. Your plastic surgeon will
look through your tests, health declaration and examines you and qualifies
you for operation. If you are qualified for an operation, you will sign
an agreement with the clinic where you state that you have understood
everything, and you give your consent for an operation, blood transfusion,
and general anaesthesia. You are able to resign at any point before surgery.
Step 5: Day of Surgery
You are not allowed to eat or drink six hours prior to your surgery. You
should take a shower and rest up before the operation. Jewellery and other
valuables should be left in your hotel. Remove all cosmetics. Do not use
perfume.
