After a breast enlargment

	During the first 24 hours there will be quite heavy tensile pain, which will gradually disappear during the first week.
	Augmentation through the axilla will be more painful and every movement of the arm will cause pain.
	The breasts will swell up heavily and the swelling will dissolve during the first month.
	The stitches will be removed at about the 10th day.
	You should sleep on the back for 3 weeks.
	Driving the car is forbidden during the first week.
	Physical activities should be abandoned for one month.
	Transient hypersensitivity of the nipples for 12 months is common.
	Sun exposure directly to the scars should be avoided for 6 months as to prevent for permanent hyperpigmentation and redness of the scars.

What happens afterwards?
Day after your surgery, you are going back to your hotel, where you only take it easty and rest. You are allowed to eat and drink as usal. It is common that you are a little dizzy and dont feel so good after the general anaesthesia. The general anaesthesia can sometimes affect you up to three days after the surgery.

Next day is time for check up and dressing. After that you are allowed to go home if you want. You can also stay 8-10 days and remove your stiches or you can remove them at your medical centre where you live.

Three months after the surgery it is time for next check up. You can choose to go back to clinic or you can send pictures to your plastic surgeon.

Bra
After your surgery you will have a special-bra and bandage. You can remove your bandage 5-7 days after your surgery.You should wear the special bra in one month. After that you shall use a sport-Bra. Never use a wired-bra..

Anaestetic and medicines
The doctor will describe you painkilles that you should use when you have pain. and antiinflammatory medicin for 5-7 days. Antibiotics is prescibed in some cases.
