Vitreous body

Vitreous body
- exists in vitreous body room, between the retina and the lens. It contains a clear, cohesive liquid and very thin treads. Inside the vitreous body it can sometime create small visible jelly clumps which can experience as movable spots in the visual field. When we get older the vitreous body will become shrivelled and loosen from the rear part of the eye. Normally this is not a problem, but in some case the retina can be affected.
