Papilla
You
can find your own blind spot if you write a small cross on right and a very small
dot to the left approximately 10 cm from each other on a white cheet of paper.
Then you close your right eye, fixate your eye on the cross and notice the small
dot in the outskirts of the visual field. If you increase or decrease the distance
between the eye and the paper you will notice in a certain distance the dot will
disappear and the paper looks all white. In that case the dot has landed exactly
on the blind spot and the brain "fills in" the small part that is missing
with that you have around the dot - white paper. | ||||||
