Preparation before laser therapy

You should be free from lenses 2 weeks before your operation. If you have hard lenses the time is 4 weeks.

You should bring your eye receipt. If you have had changes the last 2 years, you bring all receipt 2 years back in time (alternative take your old glasses). If you have done eye examination for laser therapy in Sweden, you bring the results. If you take medicines, it's good if you write a list of what medicines you are using.

The evening before your laser therapy, you should carefully remove all eye-makeup. On the day of operation you are not allowed to use makeup or perfume, only a moister crème.

You should come rested to the operation. Before the operation it is good to eat and drink as usual.

After the laser therapy it is not recommended driving and it is recommended that you have a companion.

After the operation you need sunglasses.

If you have a cold, have fever or eye infection you can not have an operation.

On the day of operation, you should reserve about three hours.

The first control after laser therapy is taken place following day.
